Doctor & Yoga Teacher

✦

Dr. Tejaswini Manogna is a qualified yoga practitioner and trainer who has trained police academy personnel, mentored aspiring yoga teachers through structured teacher training programmes, and conducted regular yoga sessions on Zee Telugu, reaching homes across India and making yoga accessible and relatable.

As a pediatrician, she sees every day how habits formed early decide a person's health for life. Her thesis on preventing childhood obesity showed what yoga, good food and involved parents can achieve together. That evidence-first approach shapes every Blisva class.

A Note from the Founder

✦

I started yoga as a child, long before I studied medicine. As a pediatrician, I see every day how habits formed early decide a person's health for life. My thesis on preventing childhood obesity showed me what yoga, good food and involved parents can achieve together. Blisva is where I bring both worlds together: the discipline of yoga and the understanding of medicine. I would love to practise with you.

What makes her approach unique?

✦

It is the fusion of her professional medical expertise as a pediatrician with the timeless teachings of yoga. She has authored research publications in international journals and has conducted a thesis on childhood obesity prevention through a programme integrating yoga, nutrition, and parental involvement. Her work emphasises the power of early lifestyle intervention and family-based wellness models.

Driven by the philosophy that yoga is not just a practice but a way of life, Dr. Tejaswini passionately advocates introducing yogic principles from childhood. She believes this is the key to preventing lifestyle disorders and nurturing a generation that thrives with joy, balance, and vibrant health.

Our Vision

✦

A world where good health begins in childhood, where every family has the tools to prevent lifestyle disease, and where people live with strength, clarity and joy at every age.

Our Mission

✦

We work toward that vision in four ways:

  • Start early. Bring yoga, breath and healthy habits to mothers-to-be and children, when lifelong patterns are formed.
  • Prevent, not only cure. Use yoga and lifestyle change to help people avoid the stress, weight and sleep problems that lead to chronic disease.
  • Teach with evidence. Combine traditional yogic practice with modern medical understanding, so every practice is safe, purposeful and explained.
  • Reach widely. Make quality yoga accessible to individuals, schools, workplaces and communities, online and in person.
